What is this anonymisation module?
This module allows you to automatically remove or replace personal information in a text or file, in order to protect privacy and comply with applicable regulations (e.g. GDPR).
What types of data are detected?
The tool recognises identity data (first names, surnames, full names), contact details (phone numbers, postal addresses, email addresses, domain names), identifiers (identity card numbers, passport numbers, banking data) and other sensitive information (dates, financial amounts, custom text defined by the user).
How do I use the tool?
Two methods are available: manual input by typing or pasting text directly, or file upload by selecting a PDF or TXT file (maximum 5 MB). The tool detects sensitive data, shows you a preview of the changes, and you can then confirm the anonymisation and download the processed document.
What are the use cases?
Regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.), sharing data with partners without disclosing personal information, publishing anonymised internal documents, and creating datasets for analysis or AI.
Are files retained?
No. Texts and files processed by the tool are not retained after anonymisation. Processing takes place only temporarily to carry out the operation.
